Reclaim · the interior game

The Journey

A quest-based, ritual-rich way to develop the senses and the self while remaining immersed in ordinary life.

The thesis

The Journey turns everyday life into conscious initiation. Instead of leaving work, family, home, and responsibility to pursue a spiritual experience somewhere else, the player meets quests inside the life that must eventually hold the change.

The design question is simple and ambitious: how can someone receive the depth of a long apprenticeship at home, in integrable doses, without fracturing the life they are trying to inhabit more fully?

The answer is an interior game. Personalized quests, ritual, affirmations, integration logs, maps, and selective community crossings create a path whose point is self-actualization—not screen time. The game is designed to become less necessary as the human capacity becomes real.

The arc

What the project is designed to do.

Stage 01

Reclaim

Recover sensation, intuition, attention, and the signals that were phased out or ignored.

Stage 02

Practice

Meet small quests in real rooms: after bedtime, on a walk, during work, inside relationship.

Stage 03

Integrate

Return insight to behavior, language, boundaries, creation, and the next ordinary choice.

Stage 04

Contribute

Move from personal development toward ethical mentorship, service, and original work.

Inside the experience

  • A personalized starting point and storyline
  • Mostly solo quests with selective communal crossings
  • A ritual library and AI-assisted ritual generation
  • Circles, round houses, maps, shops, ceremonies, and real-world unlocks

Why this is more than an idea

  • The Art Therapy prototype functions as a first room
  • Auden proves the private companion layer
  • The Rhythm and Threshold libraries supply a substantial quest substrate
  • The current browser stack can support a capital-light first version
The smallest build is ready for product, game-design, safety, ritual, community, and founding-player collaborators.
