The Walkaway

Leaving a company, partnership, or career can end an identity before the next one exists.

The recognition

The decision may be right and still carry grief, fear, relief, anger, financial uncertainty, and a disorienting absence where the old role used to be.

The Walkaway begins after the inner decision has become real—or while you are gathering the clarity to make it. It separates the ending of a role from a verdict on the person who held it.

Across eight weeks, you move through departure, practical disentanglement, story, identity, money, relationship, and the quiet interval before a new direction needs a public name.

A look inside

The movement of the passage.

Each movement combines clear language, embodied noticing, practical decisions, and integration in the rooms where the crossing is already happening.

Movement 01

Know what is ending

Separate facts, fantasies, obligations, and the part of you that already left.

Movement 02

Leave cleanly

Plan communication, transfer, boundaries, money, and the practical residue of departure.

Movement 03

Release the borrowed identity

Meet who you were in the role and what no longer needs to follow you.

Movement 04

Enter the unnamed interval

Recover desire and direction without rushing to replace one title with another.

What you receive

Complete on arrival.

  • Eight self-directed weekly chapters
  • Departure and disentanglement maps
  • Identity, money, and relationship prompts
  • A closing walkaway ritual

How it fits ordinary life

The experience is designed for self-directed use. Most people spend twenty to forty-five minutes with a weekly chapter, then let the practice travel through the conversations, choices, routines, and bodily responses of the days that follow.

Boundary

This is educational and reflective work. It does not diagnose or treat a medical or mental-health condition and is not crisis, grief-clinical, legal, financial, or emergency support. Where safety or clinical care is needed, qualified support belongs beside or before this work.
